Brief History:

As per the recommendation of NAAC and increasing demand of the students T.Y.B.A. Psychology has started this very year. Ms. Vedavati Paranjape and Ms. Pooja Mule were appointed as Assistant Professor. The lectures started from 8th July, 2012, after receiving the permission from university to start this new course. Fifteen students have enrolled for the course initially, however, as the final permission of university came in July, only nine of them have continued.
For the preliminary preparations of the department, two faculties of the department, Ms. Vedavati Paranjape and Ms. Pooja Mule have met Dr. Nandini Diwan (HOD, Psychology, Ruparel College) on 11th June 2012. Her guidance was sought regarding many areas of concern, such as:

• Schedule and conduction of  Practicals
• Purchase of Manual/Workbook of  Practicals
• Projects to be done by students under Industrial Psychology and Counseling.
• Exam pattern
